About the Artist!

My creative side began about 14 years ago, when my Sisters' and I started cutting up calendars and decoupage flower pots and making fabric greeting cards and  it took off from there. I began exploring art and it has not stopped since.  It's  been a part of who I am.  I think it's in my blood. My Mother was very Artistic, she would sit in her chair and sketch, needlepoint and knit.  She also created TEN children (no small feat)!  I have a sister, Deb in California who paints murals and builds wood decor items, another, Mari Anne who does One Stroke painting and another, Barb who is my Jewelry Designer. I have a sister in law,  Jeannie who is a lifetime Art student and incredibly talented and her daughter Tricia who is also extremely talented. So I think ART runs through my veins.

At this stage in my life I am a wife to a very talented and supportive husband Paul, and a mother to my incredible son Bryan and step mom to a beautiful daughter Erica.  We live in paradise,  Woodstock, GA.  I began this company as  a way to supplement our income and support my addiction to Art supplies. 

By day I teach private classes in my studio.  By Night you can find me in my studio creating.  I like  sharing my work with others and hope I inspire them in some way.

A lot of my work is from found objects    and mixing them with new objects  I've created.  I love turning something old and boring into something beautiful and exciting to look at. Getting there  can be a long process but the finished result is worth the wait.  I love hunting for unusual materials , and the endless  possibilities a found  object holds.  I hope to inspire you to stretch your mind and to think outside the box.
